Instructions for the search function
Contents can be found via the table of contents of the individual volumes or via the INDEX – the alphabetical author, place & subject index.
Example:
The INDEX search for “Seismic glacier investigation” displays an article by Röthlisberger Hans, which begins on page 147 of volume IX from 1954. To get to the actual book page number 147, it is essential to search using the text search function (Ctrl+F); symbolised by a magnifying glass in the PDF bar.
If you search for page 147 using the PDF page search function, you will end up on an incorrect, much lower book page due to the interposed image panels.
