It forms part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alpfutur.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">alpFUTUR joint project<\/a> between the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.art.admin.ch\/aktuell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Agroscope Reckenholz-T\u00e4nikon (ART) Research Station<\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsl.ch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape research (WSL)<\/a> .<\/p>\n<p>The Swiss Foundation for Alpine Research has become involved in this project because of its belief that retention of the summer grazing pastures promotes a form of work that is specific to the mountains, and stops the encroachment of forestation killing those sections of Alpine species diversity that depend on the cultivated landscape.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00c4lplerInnen &#8211; the Alpine employment market AlpFUTUR \u2013 the future of Switzerland\u2019s summer grazing pastures &nbsp; &nbsp; The \u00c4lplerInnen sub-project aims to identify the important determining factors in an attractive Alpine workplace.
